LPDC
Local Professional Development Committee
LPDCs were created by ORC 3319.22 to review coursework and professional development activities completed by educators to determine if state certification and licensure requirements have been met. The Department publishes a variety of resources to assist in setting up and engaging in the work of an LPDC. The Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) primary responsibility is to review educators’ Individual Professional Development Plans (IDPs) and ensure that the identified goals and strategies are relevant to the district's needs, the school, and students, and the educator.
LPDC Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every month via Zoom at 3:30 PM.
