Julia Adamyuk
Educators: Building Substitute
Ms. Adamyuk is our Substitute Teacher here at Lake Erie International High School. She was born in Ukraine but moved to Cleveland with her family when she was 2 years old and has lived here ever since. She has an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature with minors in Spanish and Psychology. During Ms. Adamyuk's studies at Cleveland State University, she studied abroad in Spain during the Summer of 2017 and has grown a passion for languages, traveling, and learning about new cultures. She has worked in the Education field since 2015 and has a broad background, which includes teaching preschool students and tutoring elementary students, as well as college students. In her most recent position, she was a Spanish teacher for K-8 students. One of her favorite parts about working with students is motivating them and watching them grow. During her free time, she loves to travel with her significant other, explore new cities, and try new things. Some of her other interests include reading, blogging, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.

Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Ms. Allen is the oldest of three children. She attended the University of Akron, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education, as well as a double major in History and a minor in Political Science. Ms. Allen loves reading, golfing, enjoying time with friends and family, and spending as much time as she can traveling.
Mr. Asche is a graduate of Cleveland State University and has been committed to working with promising young adults and school-aged youth for almost twenty-seven years. Mr. Asche has served in several roles including a family advocate, attendance liaison, social worker, assistant administrator, and high school baseball coach. Presently as the family advocate, Mr. Asche's primary focus is ensuring that our student's social and emotional barriers are identified and then link to appropriate community resources. Other lesser-known tasks include coordinating teen prevention groups and tracking student attendance. In his spare time, Mr. Asche enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and watching sports.
Cherise Benton
Educators: Instructional Aide
Ms. Benton is the Instructional Aide at Lake Erie International High School. Ms. Benton is from Youngstown, Ohio. She explored the liberal arts and business colleges at Youngstown State University, where she also worked as a Writing Center peer consultant and a microbiology lab assistant. Ms. Benton likes learning and trying new things, so she’s had lots of very different jobs and is excited to bring her arts background to the math lab.

Administrators: CTE Coordinator
Ms. Bradford is our CTE Coordinator here at Lake Erie International High School. She was born in the state of New Jersey and when she was 13 years old her mom moved them to Charlottesville, Virginia. She's lived in Charlotte, North Carolina for the last 8 years of her life before moving here to Cleveland, Ohio in October of 2019. Ms. Bradford received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice at Saint Paul's College and has worked at an elementary school for students with disabilities. As well as, worked at Livingstone Stone College in the Student Accounts/Business Office. Before taking this position at Lake Erie International High School, she worked at Cuyahoga County Courthouse in Domestic Relations. Ms. Bradford enjoys helping students develop as scholars and as professionals. She loves traveling and spending time with her family and she will be attending Southern New Hampshire University to get her Master's in Higher Education and Leadership.
Mrs. Bundy, whom many of you may know from her days as the Title 1 English teacher here at LEIHS, now serves as the school's Assistant Principal. Mrs. Bundy, who resides with her husband and two cats, has been in the education and training field since 1995. She holds various college degrees, her last being a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, and has over 24 years of educational experience, including more than 16 years in the classroom. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, watching sports, and making handmade cards and crafts. Mrs. Bundy is very honored to be part of the LEIHS family and looks forward to an exciting and rewarding school year.

Administrators: Enrollment Specialist

Administrators: ESL Teacher
Ms. Diaz is the ESL Teacher for Lake Erie International High School. She was born in Lorain, Ohio. When she was 11 years old her parents decided to move to Puerto Rico. Ms. Diaz studied at the Inter-American University of Aguadilla, completing a Bachelor's Degree in English as a Second Language. She worked for the Department of Education in Puerto Rico for 22 years at a Junior High School. Ms. Diaz moved from Puerto Rico to the place where she was born 10 years ago and has been working for 7 years as an ESL Teacher from K-12th grades in Cleveland. Having a total of 29 years of experience as a teacher. Ms. Diaz enjoys being with her family and doing most of what she loves to do, being a teacher.
Mr. Ferus is an English teacher at Lake Erie International High School. He graduated from Cleveland State University, where he majored in English and minored in Education. He specializes in American and British literature and is excited to embark on his new adventure in education. He enjoys playing soccer and jamming out on the drums from time to time. Mr. Ferus is an avid Cleveland sports fan and a dedicated supporter of Liverpool Football Club in England.

Ms. Garr earned an undergraduate degree from Fordham University (Bronx, NY) and a graduate degree from the University of Hartford (CT) in Clinical Psychology and School Psychology Practices. She moved from CT to Cleveland 13 years ago and loves to spend time with her family in the great outdoors and help those with disabilities to do the same. Her family's growing zoo includes a dog (Darwin), rabbits (Dakota & Nova), a cockatiel bird (Rocky), and a bearded dragon (Spike). Ms. Garr believes learning is lifelong and she entered the education field to help students achieve their goals.

Educators: Math Teacher
Mr. Gjyrezi is our Math Teacher here at Lake Erie International School. He was born in Albania and moved to the states when he was 7 years old. Mr. Gjyrezi attended Avon Lake High School. He then went on to graduate with his Associate's Degree at L.C.C.C. and his Bachelor's Degree at Gannon University. Fun fact, Gannon University is where Mr. Gjyrezi played soccer for 4 years.
Mr. Hammer is the Science Teacher at Lake Erie International High School. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Physics, including a minor in mathematics, from Xavier University in 1992. Mr. Hammer also has an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a Master's Degree in Education. Mr. Hammer has been teaching at Lake Erie since May of 2005. Before his teaching career, Mr. Hammer was a salesman and part-owner of a state-wide wine importer and distributor.
Brittany Harrison

Administrators: Academic & Career Advisor
Born and raised in Southern California, Ms. Harrison moved to Cleveland, Ohio in July of 2016 in pursuit of a change in pace. Ms. Harrison has been with Lake Erie International High school since 2018 and served in a few different roles while at L.E.I.H.S. She is currently enrolled with Cuyahoga Community College to obtain her Associate of Science in Nursing Degree. Outside of Lake Erie International High School, she has a passion for the fitness lifestyle. Ms. Harrison has the desire to be a motivator for students and a helping hand for students and staff alike.

Administrators: Retention Specialist
Mr Hooks is our Retention Specialist here at Lake Erie International High School. Mr Hooks is a Cleveland Ohio native, and is very familiar with the obstacles many of our students face. He is a Kent State University graduate with a BA in Sociology and a BA in Disability Inclusion. Mr. Hooks is a passionate leader in his community and an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. “Just one small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day.” — Dalai Lama

Ms. Hullum was raised in the city of Cleveland and the surrounding suburbs. She is a graduate of Cleveland State University with a Bachelor's in Urban Services Administration with an emphasis on Nonprofit Management and Leadership. A graduate of Walden University Masters in Public Administration. With over 12 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, she decided to pursue a career in education in 2010, accepting a position with Life Skills Center of Lake Erie, which then became Lake Erie International High School. Ms. Lescook, MBA, has twenty-plus years of student engagement experience, including student counseling, teen financial literacy education, numerous years of school governing experience, and several years as a Student Success Coordinator here at Lake Erie International High School. Ms. Lescook has a BA in Business Administration from Cleveland State University, an MBA from American InterContinental University with a concentration in Healthcare Management, and a Core of Knowledge Certificate for Nursing Home Administration from The Ohio State University. Ms. Lescook is a devoted mother to three children and a licensed Real Estate Agent with New Era Real Estate Group. Ms. Lescook's sole focus is the advancement and betterment of the community as a whole, from children to adults. As the Student Success Coordinator for Lake Erie International High School, she is determined to be a motivational inspiration for the staff, students, and families that she will have the pleasure of being in contact.
Ms. Pedraza loves meeting new people and learning about different cultures. Her hobbies are traveling with her husband and three daughters. Her goal is to visit as many places as possible every year. Her future travel plans include Paris, Brazil, and Dubai.

Educators: Academic Coach
Ms. Rohde is our Academic Coach. As part of her duties, she provides support for the instructional staff, serves as the testing coordinator, mentors both staff and students as needed, and is able to see and work with the students as she visits the different classrooms. Ms. Rohde is looking forward to getting to know the students, but first here is a little more about her! She is from Northeast Ohio and attended Lorain County Community College, then transferred to Cleveland State University and received a bachelor's and master's degree in Education. She has worked for over seven years in middle school mathematics before moving into the high school setting as an Intervention Specialist. This is her second year teaching at Lake Erie International High School, but her 17th year of teaching. Besides teaching, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and hanging out with her backyard chickens. Ms. Rohde has 10 feather babies (and yes, they all have names). Susan Saccardi

Administrators: Secretary
Ms. Saccardi is the Secretary at Lake Erie International High School. Ms. Saccardi started working for L.E.I.H.S in November of 2021. She studied Psychology at Kent State University from 1981- 1984 and at Cuyahoga Community College from 1987-1990. She started working in Office Support in1984 and she is still working in that capacity. Ms. Saccardi has worked in many industries for 38 years, from real estate development and brokerage/financial services to hospice and education. Her love for education came when she worked at a community elementary school where she had the opportunity to learn about children learning. Ms. Saccardi now exclusively wants to work with children & their families in an educational setting.
Regenia Williams

Educators: Intervention Specialist
Ms. Williams is one of our Intervention Specialists here at Lake Erie International High School. She has a Master’s of Arts (M.Ed.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Cleveland State University, with specialization and licensure in Special Education as an Intervention Specialist for grades K-12.
John Zito

Mr. Zito is one of the English teachers at Lake Erie International High School and is going into his second year as a L.E.I.H.S. educator. Mr. Zito has a B.S. in Education with a major in English, Secondary Level, 7-12 from Kent State University. He has 19 years of education experience and a current 5-year teaching license with the Ohio Department of Education. One of Mr. Zito's main interests includes Blues-Rockin' Boogie piano. Mr. Zito has a passion for his students and is the definition of a team player.
