Extended Learning Plan Spring 2021

During his Feb. 9, 2021, press conference, Governor DeWine asked schools and districts to work with their communities to help students advance and make up for any learning that may have been lost or delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic. He requested that schools and districts design plans to meet the needs of students that could include, but are not limited to, ending the school year later than scheduled, beginning the new year early or extending the school day. Summer programs, tutoring or remote options also could be considered. The governor asked schools and districts to provide their plans to the public and General Assembly no later than April 1.

Kick It Quest Mentoring Program

"During weekly Facetime sessions, our teaching artists would first facilitate the Kick It Quest. This curriculum guides students on a quest for connection and purpose by introducing life practices to build and sustain meaningful relationships with self, others, and their environment. Next, we will extend this immersive educational experience by hosting up to five students at our Fresh Lab recording studio. Here students gain experience on professional recording equipment in a safe, socially distanced learning environment."

This will be Friday from 11:00-12:15 in the back room starting April 9, 2021. It will be a 5 session program. Students must be available to attend ALL sessions. We will be limiting it to 10 seats. The students will be able to apply to be picked for the 5 student studio time at Refresh's studio.
